Edward Boreth
Edward Boreth is a founding partner of The Citizenship Clinic.
He began practicing law in California in 1994.
From 1995 to 2000 he represented clients in a wide variety of criminal cases at the Office of the Public Defender, Broward County, Florida. In 2000 he joined Shapovalov & Boreth, P.A. where his areas of practice include naturalization, removal/deportation proceedings and criminal cases.
Edward Boreth is the author of a column on immigration and naturalization law in “Desh Videsh” magazine. He has also been a guest speaker on citizenship law for “Gospel in Charge” on WAVS radio. He was a co-host of “Around the Wicket,” America’s only radio talk show on cricket.
He received his BA from and Tulane University in 1990 and his JD from California Western School of Law JD in 1993.
Edward Boreth is a member of the Florida Bar and the California Bar, as well as the Federal Bars of the Southern District of Florida, the Southern District of California and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.
He is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
Inna Shapovalov
Inna Shapovalov is a founding partner of The Citizenship Clinic.
She began practicing law in 1994 in California. She worked with the Centro de Asuntos Migratorios in San Diego as well as Inland Counties Legal Services in Indio.
From 1996 to 2000, she was a sole practitioner in Miami, Florida, representing clients from all over the world in business start-ups, business and professional visas, consular interviews, naturalization, deportation, removal, asylum as well as family immigration cases.
In 2000, she joined Shapovalov & Boreth, P.A. where her areas of practice include naturalization, employment based and family immigration.
Inna Shapovalov lectured on US business and immigration law at the seminar "Haciendo Empresas en Los Estados Unidos" (2004) in Lima, Peru.
Inna Shapovalov lectures foreign students at several universities on “Life after the F-1 visa: Immigration Options for International Students”.
She presented “Visas for Athletes and Entertainers” at the Shepard Broad Law Center, Nova Southeastern University (2008).
Inna Shapovalov received her BA from the University Of Illinois in 1991, studied at Heidelberg University and received her JD from the California Western School of Law in 1994.
Inna Shapovalov is admitted to the Florida and California Bars and the Federal Bars of the Southern District of Florida, the Southern District of California and the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals.
