CitizenshipClinic.com

Q. How does the Citizenship Clinic work?
A. When you contact us, you will receive a free consultation with an attorney (by phone or e-mail). To proceed with your application we will take a credit card and start the process immediately. We prepare your naturalization application and file it with USCIS with all necessary documents. We receive copies of all USCIS notices and we make sure that your receive the biometrics (fingerprint) and interview date. If you want, you can have an attorney attend the interview with you for an additional fee.

And, of course, we are always available to answer your questions.

Q. Do I have to go to your office?

A. No. We can do everything by phone, e-mail and mail. This will save you time. You will, however, have to go to get fingerprinted and go to a USCIS interview.

Q. Why should I get my citizenship?

A. As a U.S. Citizen, you can travel with a U.S. Passport, vote in US Elections, bring your parents, spouse, children and siblings to the United States and pass citizenship to your children, apply for public benefits, live or take long trips outside the United States with an unquestioned right to return to the United States, and you cannot be deported.

Q. Why should I have an attorney?

A. How a person answers the questions asked on the Citizenship application may lead to a denial of citizenship, or possibly place the person applying into removal proceedings (deportation).  By hiring an attorney who is knowledgeable about the process you can avoid many of the problems that may occur by properly filing out the form.  Furthermore, as USCIS reviews your entire immigration file, questions that may arise in your application for citizenship can be properly handled.

Q. Is this a scam?

A.No.  Licensed attorneys will speak directly with you about your case.  Our goal is to help as many people as possible obtain their US Citizenship.  We also recognize that time is valuable for everyone. We want people to get quality legal representation without the need to spend a lot of time in an attorney’s office. We can get the process started right over the phone or by e-mail.

Q. What is your money back guarantee?

A. If you apply for citizenship with the Citizenship Clinic and are denied by USCIS, we will refund to you the legal fees to prepare your application ($299). We cannot refund your USCIS filing fee. We will not refund your fee if: 1) you have lied, misled or omitted any information to our office or on your application. 2) you do not pass the English language or civic test. 3) you cannot speak, read or write English well enough to pass the English language requirement. 4) fail to provide any of the requested documents. 5) require a medical waiver. 6) you are arrested or cited (ticketed) after you retain the Citizenship Clinic or file you naturalization application. 7) you do not show up to the biometrics or interview appointment.

Q. Do I have to speak, read and write English?

A. In general yes, but there are certain exceptions. In order to determine if you might qualify it is necessary to speak with an attorney. The Citizenship Clinic handles these cases, but there may be an additional fee, as the cases require additional work.

Q. Am I eligible?

A. The initial requirements for naturalization are:

1) you must be a legal permanent resident for at least 5 years (3 years if married to a U.S Citizen who petitioned for your permanent residence);

2) You must have been physically present in the United States for at least 30 months out of the previous five years;

3) You must have good moral character and an attachment to the Constitution; and

4) you must have an understanding of the English language and knowledge of American history and government (although the English language requirements may be waived for some persons who have had their green cards for at least 15 years and for those with certain disabilities).

Just because you meet these requirements does not guarantee that you will get your citizenship. USCIS will examine your entire immigration file and ask questions in a number of areas to make its determination on whether or not to grant citizenship.

Q. What if I have been arrested or have received tickets?

A. Certain crimes make you ineligible for citizenship, and may actual lead to your being deported. Some crimes are dependent on when they occurred, the exact charges and the sentence imposed. If you have been arrested or received a ticket for anything other than a traffic infraction it is best to consult with an attorney before applying for your citizenship.

Q. How much will it cost?

A. The cost for applying for citizenship through the Citizenship Clinic is $299. An additional $100 (for a total of $399) will be charged in cases where the applicant seeks a waiver from the requirement of speaking, reading or writing English. In addition there is also the USCIS filing fee of $675. Should you wish for us to represent you at the Citizenship interview, an additional $399 flat fee per interview will also be charged for interviews at the Miami, Oakland Park, Hialeah, Kendall and West Palm Beach USCIS field office locations. If you are at any other location, the fees will vary.

Q. What is good moral character?

A. USCIS will look at a variety of factors to make this determination, such as past criminal history, child support history and other aspects of your life.
